Marlene Dietrich

Marlene Dietrich was one of the greatest German acting sensations of the 1930s and 1940s. Not only was she popular in European films, but she made a name for herself in Hollywood as well. Her childhood was less than perfect and she lost several people she was close to, however that didn't put a damper on her ambitions of becoming an actress, and she was determined to succeed. Obviously, she did.
